Product Features

Orin is a leading variety of yellow apples in Japan, known for its strong sweetness and rich aroma.
It has very little sourness and is juicy, sweet, and flavorful.
The flesh is firm with a light, crisp texture.
Orin is one of Japan’s major apple varieties, ranking just after the red apples Fuji and Tsugaru in production volume.

It was developed by crossing Golden Delicious and Indo apple varieties.
The name “Orin” means “King of Apples,” reflecting its top status.

Aomori located at the northern tip of Japan’s main island, is the largest apple-producing area in Japan.
Its cool summers, large temperature difference between day and night, and vast natural land help grow apples with high sugar content and firm flesh.
A unique growing method called “dwarf cultivation” is used to keep the trees low, so that sunlight reaches all parts of the tree evenly.
Thanks to this ideal environment and careful farming methods, Aomori produces high-quality apples, including Orin.
