Okayama Pione
Okayama grown Pione grapes are shipped over a long period,
With greenhouse-grown varieties available from late May to mid-August and outdoor varieties available from late August to late October,
Reaching their peak around September 10 to October 10.

The main production area for greenhouse-grown varieties is Tsuyama City,
Located in the mountainous region of central Okayama Prefecture, where they are cultivated at an altitude of around 300 meters.
Due to the large temperature difference between day and night, sweet and well-colored Pionne grapes are produced.

The main production area for outdoor Pionne grapes is Shinmei City in northern Okayama Prefecture,
Where cultivation is taken on karst plateaus composed of limestone at elevations above 400 meters with good drainage.
The cool summer climate in this region is ideal for Pionne cultivation, resulting in sweet, large-grained, and well-colored Pionne grapes.

Nagano Pione
Pione grapes from Nagano Prefecture begin shipping in mid- to late September and reach their peak in mid-October.

Northern Nagano Prefecture is located where the Chikuma River and Saigawa River converge in North Shinano to form the Shinano River, creating a fertile alluvial plain.
Additionally, the fan-shaped slopes have excellent drainage and sunlight, with sunshine hours among the highest in Japan.
Furthermore, the low rainfall and large temperature difference between day and night contribute to higher sugar content in the fruit, resulting in Pionne with a rich flavor.
With this blessed land and optimal climate as a solid foundation, the region has been actively engaged in fruit cultivation since ancient times,
Promoting the spread of high-quality varieties and the development and dissemination of cultivation techniques.
