"Naruto Kintoki" is a premium sweet potato brand mainly grown in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture.
It has a beautiful red skin and golden flesh. The texture is fluffy like chestnuts, and it has a gentle natural sweetness.

The warm and dry climate of Tokushima, along with sandy soil rich in sea minerals, creates the perfect conditions for growing these delicious sweet potatoes.
They are harvested mainly in August and September, then stored to mature. This aging process turns more starch into sugar, so by the beginning of the year, they become even sweeter.

Depending on the region, Naruto Kintoki has different brand names:
In Sato-ura Town (Naruto City), it's called "Sato Musume"
In Matsushige Town, it's "Matsushige Bijin" (Matsushige Beauty)
In Kawauchi Town, it's "Ama-hime" (Sweet Princess)
