is a very popular apple known for its perfect balance of sweetness and tartness.<br \/>\nIt often has honey-like syrup inside, and is juicy and flavorful.<br \/>\nThe flesh is firm and crisp, giving it a great crunchy bite.<\/p>\n<p>Fuji was created by crossing two apple types: \u201cKokko\u201d and \u201cDelicious.\u201d<br \/>\nThe main difference between \u201cSun Fuji\u201d and \u201cFuji\u201d is how they are grown \u2013 with or without a protective bag around the fruit.<\/p>\n<p><b>Sun Fuji<\/b><br \/>\nWhile Fuji apples are grown with bags, Sun Fuji apples are grown without bags, allowing them to soak up plenty of sunlight.<br \/>\nThis helps the apples develop more natural sugars and often more honey inside.<br \/>\nHowever, the skin may be rougher, and they don\u2019t store as well.<br \/>\nSo, Sun Fuji apples are usually only available from November to March.<\/p>\n<p><b>Fuji<\/b><br \/>\nFuji apples are grown with bags, which gives them a smooth and beautiful red skin.<br \/>\nBut compared to Sun Fuji, they are usually a little less sweet.<br \/>\nAfter harvest, they are stored in CA (Controlled Atmosphere) storage and sold from April to August.<\/p>\n<p>Fuji apples often contain honey inside, but over time, this honey will slowly disappear.<br \/>\nIf you want to enjoy the honey-filled apples, it's best to eat Sun Fuji harvested in November to December.<\/p>\n<p>Note: Not all Fuji apples will have honey
