Funasho also focus on the importance of logistics center functions to deliver fresh, delicious fruits and vegetables
Utilizing the fix-temperature logistic areas of
the Ohta Market Logistics Center (kept at 15°C all year long),
which began operation in April 2011,
Funasho has enhanced its freshness control structure to establish thorough cold chain logistics.
These cold chain logistic system are assured with
FCC Logistics Center 1 inside the Ohta Market
and FCC Logistics Center 2 inside Prologis Park Tokyo Ohta.
Since the refrigerators, elevators, and packaging areas are
located adjacent to the constant-temperature logistic areas,
this structure enables swift receipt and processing, as well as the smooth loading of trucks.

We take pride in our ability to stock stable supplies of produce
from producer regions across Japan at the Ohta Market.
Purchasing products directly from the farm enables stable supplies
of products unaffected by the volume delivered to the market.
In addition, we purchase unique products and excellent products
grown with special care directly from farmers.
The Metropolitan Central Wholesale Ohta Market where we are located
is Japan's largest market for fresh fruits and vegetables trading.
Our broad pipeline with this market enables us
to deliver stable supplies of products to our customers.

Propose solutions

We develop new products together with farmer
to respond to ever-changing consumer demands.
Today, consumers are seeking even more delicious tastes
for even the best-loved fruits and vegetables.
In cooperation with partners, including farmer and seed companies,
we strive proactively to develop products to satisfy such needs,
so that we can provide fruits and vegetables that all will love.
